Education and Career
- 1998 - Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy in Sofia.
- 1999÷2005 - Worked at the State Agency for Youth and Sports, Directorate "Scientific and Medical Support" as a senior expert.
- 2005 - Head of the "Functional Diagnostics" laboratory at NSA "Vasil Levski", Department of Sports Medicine.
- 2010 - Obtained the educational and scientific degree "Doctor" after defending a dissertation related to the analysis and evaluation of the functional working capacity of highly qualified athletes.
- 2011 - Won a competition for senior assistant at NSA "Vasil Levski" in sports medicine - functional diagnostics.
- 2014÷2017 - Senior assistant at NSA "Vasil Levski", Department of Sports Medicine.
- 2017 - Associate professor at NSA "Vasil Levski", Department of Sports Medicine.

Sports Medicine Course under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee, Medical Commission (2001, 2002, 2004); The European Practicum on Clinical Exercise Testing (2007); Cardiorespiratory Diagnostics Course under the auspices of Medical Graphics Corporation (2007); Sports Medicine Course under the auspices of International Olympic Committee Medical Commission and Olympic Solidarity - participated as a guest lecturer in the scientific seminar "Actual Problems of Modern Sports Medicine", Kiev (2008); International Cardiopulmonary Exercise Workshop organized by "CORTEX Biophysik GmbH", Leipzig (2014); Course on innovative educational technologies under the national program "Enhancing the competencies of lecturers from state higher education institutions preparing future teachers", Sofia (2023).
Teaching Activities
Lectures and conducts exercises on sports medicine and hygiene for students from the Bachelor's degree programs in the faculties of "Sports", "Pedagogy", and "Public Health and Health Care Technology", as well as mandatory and elective modules in the Master's degree and Doctoral degree programs.
Research Interests
Application of different models of testing the functional working capacity of the body in monitoring the functional state and control of the training process of elite athletes. Sports-medical aspects of motor activity characterizing the competitive activity of qualified athletes. Sports-medical problems of childhood and adolescence.
Publications, Textbooks, Guides
Author of the monograph "Aerobic Capacity - Modern Aspects of Research and Evaluation". Has over 40 scientific publications, reports, and participations in congresses, conferences at national and international levels.
Project Activities
Participation in 3 research and 4 educational projects, of which 3 are international and 4 are national.
